This year marks that I had spent a quarter of a century on Earth. Just when I tot that it would be just a normal eat n drink bday.. Things get a lil' too exciting and surprising for me...

The NIE usual gang met up for a wonderful meal at Waraku Jap Restaurant. The food is really Fabulous.. Yummy! The gang treated me the meal, Peiyu bought me a sunflower, Wei Qiang bought me a box of choco, Bee hong sponsored my bowling and I had a wonderful gaming session at Paradiz Center.. The arcade there has games of my ERA.. Puzzle fighter, Puzzle Bubble, Fifa Cup 2000.. Really is like 回到过去... Not 4getting my treat to the gang at the famous Rochor Soy Bean stall.

Peiyu and Bee hong sent a bouquet of Tulips to school. I was so shocked! They even sent a box of Hello Panda biscuits to me. They still remembered that it is my favourite snack during NIE days. Totally a booster on a slight sick, morale down and tired afternoon...

A student from my previous P5 class bought me some stuff from Bodyshop and a slice of S/B cake. She insisted that I must keep it. Was so touched by her lil action. Out of coincident... She gotten me the S/B series from B.S which I love.

Jie Jie and xiao mei bought me a watch.. Not too blink-blink but yet the way I like it to be.. Just the way I like it. Yeah! Mama bought me a Mango Moose Cake from 4Leaves.. Nice! I was terribly sick that day after tuition but still managed to eat cake with everyone.

Went tuition and was total down after that. Ate med and KO all the way. But I drag myself out to meet the members of my usual 4 Ladies Gang - Hui, Eng, Karen, and Ben and Ah Er. So touched! Ah er travelled all the way from Jurong to meet me in Tamp. I was so pale and weak so every1 compromise with me and meet at TM instead. Thanks folks! The folks treated me a great meal at Fish&Co, bought me a Adidas Top which I saw when we went shopping previously, Hui gotten me the Secret OST (usual ah.. we always give Jay's stuff to each other. haha) and the card that make me speechless and so touched.. My wife designed a card and wrote a few words in it...

The reason why I felt so surprised and touched is my wife is not the type that will say flowery words but her that few words with her own pinch of humour really holds so much meaning and really makes me so 感动.. really is 说不出的感动...

Feeling real sick but still go to work. A few colligs showered me with belated wishes.. Seok Hong and Joycelyn (school only 2 music teachers) asked me to go over to their cubicle and sang Bday song for me. So cute..

Nonetheless, it was hectic and super tiring at work today. Totally drained and feeling extra tired probably due to the not so healthy condition. I ended my remedial at 330pm, feeling tired and hungry and my gd fren 4gotten to ta bao lunch for me. I was planning to eat the cup noodles in my drawer. I saw Mel and grumbled to her "I'm so hungry~~" She dragged me into the staff room and TA DA! Everyone was on standby and sang Bday song for me... and there was a table full of food. I really was also touched to tears. Just when I felt that everything had gone so wrong lately and having 2nd thoughts about my future, they made me felt so warm again. The mastermind, Mel made me an oreo cheese cake, Mrs Fong and Kelly prepared sandwiches and fruits platelet and Jo made pasta. Not 4getting the lil puppy stuff toy that Jay gave me.

After all these, the bday turned out to be so special when I tot it would be as normal as it could me. Everyone thought that what they had done is nothing... just a simple act but they never knew how much impact they had done to me esp recently I was in the extreme down condition. Really thank you! (*bow*)

I learnt 2 things: "Don't expect things so that there is no disappointment" and "Every lil thing that you do can really be an impact on others"

Lastly "Happy Birthday, Evelyn! Smile everyday as there are so many things that worth your smile rather than your frown"
