Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Project Munitio Part 1

Day 1 (24th Nov 2006):
When we reached Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, we were exorted 350k Rupiah before able to continue our journey. The feeling was like DUHZ! But I realised the 1st interesting fact about the whole team. All of us have double eye lids. So kool ya? Bo liao? Ya lah.. cos I was super bored while waiting for the whole wayang to take place and pay off the $ b4 we were able to go off.

After a stop over at a shopping mall to buy some stuff and replenish our energy, we continued our ultimate long journey to Trawas. It was a great challenge for a person with motion sickness. Thank god I made it to Trawas and reached Pring Woelong in a piece. Haha... The weather was superb up in Trawas. Cool and refreshing...

After a short rest, the counterparts of Pring Woelong drove us out to have supper. It was really thumb up to their drving skills. The road is in complete darkness and superly uneven... But the guys were really kool with it. (Clap!)

We reached the Warong (street side stalls) and the guys had the famous Mee Bakso (Beef balls noodles) and some satays. I wasn't enjoyig much ah cos the food was not of my liking. I only had a few sticks of satay which tasted weird cos it tasted sweet instead of the familiar taste of the ones in S'pore.

We went back to PW camp site and decided to take a shower before KO in our beds. And... OMG! OMG! The water is ice-cold! And it was from the stream so you will see some sediments at the bottom of the well-like structure in the bathroom. As for the toilets... I nearly fainted! Squatting units without flush and toilet paper... Nonetheless, I quickly took my shower and went back to the bunk to rest.

Our bunk looked like Shao Ling Temple! Haha.. There was this concrete platform and mattress all lined side by side, in a single row. It looked weird but somehow I felt safe cos the whole team will be sleeping together. I never like sleeping alone... So there was a little "YEAH!" feeling in me.

I laid down, trying to feel somfortable but I can't. Marc entertained me with a casual chat b4 he KO. I cont'd to feel insecure and disturb by the sound of nature around me... Crickets, lizards, geckos, bats, some unidentified creatures... Ahh!!! I can't sleep...

Ohh... side track a bit on the satay... I found out that what we ate was actually RABBIT MEAT!!!! Pukez!!!! I felt so sick about it!

Day 2 and 3 (25th and 26th Nov 2006):
These 2 days were full of tracking and site visiting. We need to get familiar with the surroundings and sites before the commencement of the camp activities. We visited the rainforest (Jurang Gemboloh), paddy fields and PW site. We were all mesmerized by the beauty of nature. Wait till I get the pictures from my team mates, then you all can go WAH! together with me.

Side track to some funny notes.. On the second night, there were FROGS in the bathroom. WAH LAO EH! Frogs eh... I was too shock to take my shower. Every1 waited for a single unit which was frog-less at the moment. But the water pressure dropped lower and lower as the night creeped in.. In the end, the water flow was like -_-''' haiz.. It took like forever in order for all of us to get our shower. Shortly after Reesha took her shower and light a stick for a puff... she suddenly hold on to her track pants and screamed "There is a frog inside!" Everyone of us was shocked and the guys kept laughing at the girls when we tried all means to get that frog out of Sha's pants. Haha... What an experience for Reesha and also that poor little frog... Haha...
